The most delicious food you will find here
I love to eat at the restaurant “Tewa”. It is located at the so called „Naschmarkt“, the biggest food and produce market of Vienna. The great atmosphere of the “Naschmarkt”, the delicious oriental food and the adequate prices make the “Tewa” my favourite restaurant and I eat there about once a week. I can really recommend the “Tewa starter-variation”.
My favourite activity during rainy days
Vienna has an amazing variety of museums and exhibitions where you can have a great time especially on rainy days. I like the Museum of Natural History best. Also the Spanish Riding School is definitely worth visiting.
This bar I like best
My favourite bar is Freiraum. Not only the location and the music but also the drinks are great. “Freiraum” is located at Vienna’s famous shopping street “Mariahilferstraße” and therefore a great visit during/after a shopping day.
The best leisure time activities for sunny days
I love to spend sunny days at the “Donauinsel”, a beautiful, natural island in the Danube River. Inlinke-skating, cycling, jogging or just taking a walk, the “Donauinsel” is the perfect location to do so. A lot of cafes and restaurants and the DC Tower -Austria’s tallest building – are also in the immediate vicinity.
The best club to celebrate epic parties
Vienna has a lot of great night clubs. My favourite club is the “Platzhirsch” and the “Volksgarten”. The events in these clubs depend on the day of the week and therefore I would recommend you to check out the Facebook-Events before going there.
The best ice cream of Vienna
The most delicious ice cream you can buy at the so called “Eis-Greissler”. You might have to wait a few minutes in a queue before enjoying your ice cream but it is definitely worth it. All products used are from local farmers and you will even get vegan ice cream at the “Eis-Greissler”.
The best shopping location
In my opinion the best shopping street in Vienna is the “Mariahilferstraße”. As it is a pedestrian zone it is also very nice for a walk. Thanks to a huge variety of shops everyone will find something that meets their taste. I like to buy clothes in a small boutique called “Imperio” that offers Italian fashion.
My Insider hint for you
During summertime I love going to the “Donaukanal”, it is the area along one of the arms of the Danube River. There you will find many nice bars, cool music and meet happy people. I like the beach bars “Strandbar Herrmann” and “Tel Aviv Beach” best.
